Keys and connectors

  • Headset connector: For audio output.
  • Power key: Press to lock/light screen. Press and hold to access power options (Power off, Restart, Airplane mode). Press and hold for 7 seconds to restart if halted. Press and hold Power + Volume down for screenshot. Press and hold Power + Volume up in power off mode for factory reset.
  • LED light: Indicates phone status.
  • Touch screen: Interact with the phone by touching, touching and holding, dragging, sliding, flicking, pinch/spreading, and rotating.
  • Menu key: Accesses options menu, recent apps.
  • Home key: Returns to the Home screen.
  • Back key: Goes to the previous screen.
  • Volume keys: Adjusts earpiece, headset, media, or ringtone volume. Can be used as a camera shutter.
  • micro-USB connector: For charging and data transfer.

Getting started

  • Set-up: Install SIM and microSD cards (if applicable). Remove/install battery. Charge the battery.
  • Power on/off: Press and hold the Power key.
  • Home screen: Features status bar, favorite apps tray, and app access.
  • Touchscreen gestures: Touch, touch and hold, drag, slide, flick, pinch/spread, rotate.
  • Notification panel: Swipe down from the status bar.
  • Quick setting bar: Access via notification panel for quick function toggles.
  • Personalize Home screen: Add, reposition, remove items, create folders, customize wallpaper.

Troubleshooting and error codes
