Warranty Information

Your phone is warranted for 12 months against defects under normal use.

  • Set-up: Insert SIM and battery, then charge the phone.
  • Power On/Off: Press and hold the power key.
  • Making Calls: Dial number and press send key; hang up with end call key.
  • Messages: Access menu to create, send, and receive SMS.
  • Contacts: Access contacts from the main screen, add new contacts, and manage existing ones.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Solution
Phone cannot switch on Check battery contacts, reinstall battery, ensure battery is charged for at least 20 minutes. Use User Data Format or ONE TOUCH Upgrade if necessary.
Phone is frozen or unresponsive Restart by pressing and holding the power key, remove and re-insert the battery. Use User Data Format or ONE TOUCH Upgrade if necessary.
Phone turns off by itself Ensure power key is not mis-contacted and check battery charge level. Use User Data Format or ONE TOUCH Upgrade if necessary.
Phone cannot charge properly Use ALCATEL ONE TOUCH battery and charger, check battery contacts, ensure proper insertion, and charge within normal conditions (0°C to +40°C).
No network connection or "No service" Try a different location, verify network coverage, check SIM card validity, try manual network selection, or try later if the network is overloaded.
Invalid SIM card Ensure SIM card is correctly inserted, the chip is not damaged, and the service is available.
Unable to make outgoing calls Dial a valid number, check country/area codes for international calls, ensure connection to a network, check subscription status, ensure calls are not barred, and verify phone is not in flight mode.
Unable to receive incoming calls Ensure phone is on and connected to a network, check subscription, ensure calls are not forwarded or barred, and verify phone is not in flight mode.
Caller name/number not displayed Check subscription for caller ID service or confirm caller has not concealed their information.
Cannot find contacts Ensure SIM card is not broken or improperly inserted, import SIM contacts to phone if needed.
Poor call quality Adjust volume, check network strength, and ensure phone's receiver/speaker is clean.
Unable to use features Verify subscription includes the feature and check if an ALCATEL ONE TOUCH accessory is required.
Cannot dial number from contacts Ensure number is correctly recorded and country prefix is used for international calls.
Cannot add contact Check if SIM card contacts are full and delete/archive files if necessary.
Callers cannot leave voicemail Contact network operator for service availability.
Voicemail inaccessible Ensure correct voicemail number is entered in settings, or try later if the network is busy.
Flickering icon displayed Too many short messages saved on SIM; delete or archive them.
SIM card PIN locked Contact network operator for PUK code.
Cannot connect to computer Use the correct cable.
Battery drains quickly Ensure full charge time (min 3 hours), wait after charging for accurate indication, and switch on backlight only when needed.
Privacy Policy
