Loading the Camera: Open the camera back by pushing the locking catch. Place the film holder and ensure an empty spool is present. Insert the spool with the groove or slit onto the fixed pivot, then attach the hinged flap. Close the back firmly. Thread the film by unrolling a small part of the cover paper and inserting the pointed end into the take-up spool. Wind the knob a few turns to tighten the paper and ensure it winds straight. Close the back until it clicks. Turn the winding knob until '1' appears in the film counting window. Taking Photographs: Hold the camera level and steady. For horizontal shots, release the shutter with the index finger of the right hand. For vertical shots, support the camera with the right hand and release with the thumb. The shutter is released by squeezing between the index finger and the thumb on the opposite side of the camera body.
