To open the camera, press the release button and pull down the platform until side-arm braces lock. To close, press two release buttons simultaneously and move the platform upward until it clicks. The camera is fixed-focus for objects from 10 feet to infinity. For close-ups, an Agfa Portrait Attachment is available. The shutter has two settings: Inst. (instantaneous) and Time. Move the speed setting ring to adjust. For instantaneous, a single press on the release button trips the shutter. For Time, one press opens it, and a second press closes it. The diaphragm controls light entry and is adjusted with a lever. Proper exposure depends on light intensity, film speed, and diaphragm opening, with an exposure table provided. The finders are opened by lifting the back edge. To load film, open the back, place the fresh spool in the lower chamber, ensuring the paper feeds correctly, and wind until '1' appears in the red window. To unload, wind the film completely, open the back, pull out the winding knob, and remove the roll. Seal the end with the sticker to prevent unrolling.
