- Powering On/Off: Press the power button to turn the camera on. Press it again to turn it off. The camera may automatically power off after a period of inactivity.
- Handling: Open the LCD panel by pulling it away from the camera and adjust its angle. Be careful not to damage the hinge or touch the monitor when moving it.
- Setting Date/Time & Language: Access the Setup menu via the MENU button to set the date and time, and choose the display language.
- Formatting Memory Card: Use the Format utility in the Setup menu to format SD/SDHC cards before first use. Ensure the card is not write-protected to format it.
- Capturing: In Capture Mode, press the shutter button to take still images or record video clips. Use the zoom function to enlarge subjects.
- Playback: Access Playback Mode to review recorded videos and images. Various options like slideshow and deletion are available.
- File Transfer: Connect the camera to a computer via USB to download or delete files.
