Basic Operation of the LAVAMAT 16820 Washer-Dryer
Loading: Sort laundry by fabric type and care labels. Empty pockets and remove any metal objects. Close zippers and buttons. Turn garments inside out if necessary. Wash small and delicate items in a net or pillowcase. Shake out garments before loading.
Detergent: Use detergents recommended for automatic machines. Select the appropriate detergent for whites, colours, or delicates. Add detergent to the correct compartment in the dispenser drawer. Fabric conditioners can be added to the designated compartment.
Programme Selection: Use the programme selector dial to choose the wash cycle based on laundry type. Various options, such as PREWASH, STAIN, SENSITIVE, and QUICK WASH, can be selected using the programme option buttons. SPIN SPEED and RINSE HOLD can also be adjusted.
Starting and Pausing: Press the START/PAUSE button to begin the selected programme. To interrupt, press the START/PAUSE button again. Press it once more to resume.
Drying: For drying, select the desired degree of dryness using the ELECTRONIC DRYING button or set a specific DRYING TIME. The machine automatically adjusts the drying time based on the selected option.
Cancelling/Altering: To cancel a programme, turn the selector dial to O/OFF. To alter a running programme, pause it, make changes, and then restart.
End of Programme: The display will show a zero when the programme is finished. The END pilot light will also illuminate.
