Operation Summary

Charging the Battery Pack: Battery packs are shipped in a low charge condition. Charge until the green LED on the charger comes on. Hot battery packs should cool for 30 minutes before charging. Use only AEG 58V Li-Ion battery packs with this charger. Ensure the power supply is normal household voltage (220-240V, 50Hz AC). Connect the charger to power, then place the battery pack in the charger, ensuring it snaps securely into place. The green LED will remain on when charging is complete. Remove the battery pack by depressing the latch after unplugging the charger.

Battery Protection Features: AEG 58V lithium-ion batteries have features to protect cells and maximize life. If a tool stops, release the trigger to reset. If it still doesn't work, the battery needs recharging.

Maintenance: No user-serviceable parts. Return charger or battery to an authorized service center for repairs.

Cleaning: Unplug the charger before cleaning. Use a damp cloth with mild detergent. Avoid strong detergents and solvents. Dry thoroughly. Clean air vents with a brush or vacuum cleaner.

Storage: Store charger in a cool, dry place (10-25°C). Avoid extreme temperatures. Ensure no metal filings can enter vents.
