Warranty Information
Warranty void if damage occurs due to not following instructions; AEG PS reserves the right to cancel.
- Normal operation: Rectifier converts AC to DC, charging batteries and supplying the inverter. Inverter transforms DC to AC for output.
- Mains failure: Batteries supply power to the inverter. Backup time depends on battery capacity.
- Inverter not active: Inverter is inactive due to alarms (overloads, overheating, etc.) or if the unit is not started with the keyboard. Rectifier continues charging batteries.
- Manual bypass: Allows maintenance without interrupting power to loads.
- Parallel operation: Two identical UPS can be paralleled for redundancy or to double load capacity. Operates on a MASTER-SLAVE principle.

| Parallel System Communication Error | Second communication error/break detected by slave equipment after initial error, resulting in permanent block of rectifier and inverter. |
