Warranty Information

The appliance has a 24-month warranty for private household use.

Operation:

  • Switching on: Plug the power cord into the socket. If equipped with a Hirschmann plug, connect the power cable first.
  • Switching off: Pull the power plug out of the socket.
  • Cleaning: Never spray with water or immerse in water. Do not touch quartz rods with fingers. Isolate from power supply and let cool. Use a damp cloth for casing, avoid abrasive cleaners. Clean reflector regularly with a brush.
  • What to do if...: A temporary smell may develop on first use or after long breaks. If the appliance does not radiate heat, check fuses/MCBs. Contact a heating contractor if the fault cannot be remedied.

Safety Precautions:

  • Keep children under 3 away unless supervised. Children aged 3-7 can operate on/off if supervised and instructed. They must not plug in or adjust the appliance. Children aged 8+ and persons with reduced capabilities can use if supervised and instructed.
  • Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance should only be done by children under supervision.
  • Do not use as a baby heater or for nappy changing. Do not look into the light for long.
  • Never insert objects into openings. Do not operate if damaged. Power cable replacement must be done by a qualified electrician.
  • Never operate in fire risk areas, near flammable materials, or during certain works (tiling, sanding, sealing). Observe minimum clearances.
  • Do not place objects on, lean against, or place objects between the appliance and wall. Avoid flammable, combustible, or insulating materials nearby.
  • Parts can get very hot; exercise caution with children/vulnerable persons. Grille remains hot after switch-off.
  • Ensure power cable does not contact hot surfaces or sharp edges.

Troubleshooting and error codes

you notice a smell For a short time after first taking the appliance into use as well as after longer breaks in use, a smell may develop. -
the appliance does not radiate heat Check whether the fuses/MCBs have blown/tripped or are faulty. If you cannot remedy the fault, notify your heating contractor. To facilitate and speed up your request, provide the number from the type plate (000000-0000-000000).
