Getting Started

1. Before first use, place the toaster near an open window and operate it a few times at maximum browning setting without bread.
2. Plug the cord into the mains, insert bread, select browning setting (1-8), and press down the start lever.
3. When desired browning is reached, the toaster switches off automatically and the bread lifts up. The start lever can be used to raise and lock the bread higher.

Features and Cleaning

• To interrupt toasting, press the stop button (A).
• For frozen bread, press the defrost button (B).
• To warm up already toasted bread, press the reheat button (C).
• To crisp rolls, use the roll rack. Place bread on the rack, select setting 2, and switch on. Turn bread when finished and repeat. Caution: the rack gets hot!
• For cleaning: unplug, let cool, remove and empty crumb tray, wipe exterior with a moist cloth. Never use caustic/abrasive cleaners or immerse in liquid.
