Warranty Information

  • **Switching On/Off:** Touch the on/off sensor field for 1 second.
  • **Automatic Switch Off:** The appliance automatically switches off if all cooking zones are deactivated, heat setting is not set after activation, something is spilled on the control panel, or a cooking zone is not deactivated or its heat setting is not changed.
  • **Setting Heat:** Touch the control bar at the desired heat setting and adjust as needed.
  • **Outer Rings:** Touch the sensor field to activate the outer ring.
  • **Automatic Heat Up:** Activate the function by touching A and selecting the heat setting.
  • **Timer (Countdown):** Select the cooking zone, set the timer with +/-, and start the countdown.
  • **CountUp Timer (Count-up):** Select the cooking zone, activate the timer with , and the time will count up.
  • **Hob Timer:** Use the timer as a hob timer when cooking zones are switched off.
  • **STOP+GO:** This function sets all cooking zones to the lowest setting.
  • **Lock:** Locks the control panel to prevent accidental changes.
  • **Child Safety Device:** Prevents accidental operation of the appliance.
  • **OffSound Control:** To enable/disable appliance sounds.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible cause Solution
The appliance cannot be switched on or operated The appliance is not plugged into the mains socket or is not correctly installed. Check that the appliance is correctly connected to the mains socket (see connection diagram).
Two or more touch keys have been pressed simultaneously. Press only one touch key at a time.
The STOP+GO function is active. Refer to the "Daily Use" chapter.
There is water or grease splatters on the control panel. Clean the control panel.
A signal sounds and the appliance switches off. One or more touch keys have been covered. Remove the object from the touch keys.
A signal sounds when the appliance is switched off. Something has been placed on the  touch key. Remove the object from the touch keys.
The appliance switches off. The cooking zone is not hot because it was used only briefly. If the cooking zone does not heat up sufficiently after a long time, contact customer service.
The residual heat indicator does not light up. The cooking zone is hot. Allow the cooking zone to cool down sufficiently.
The Automatic Heat Up function does not start. The highest heat setting is selected. The highest heat setting has the same power as the Automatic Heat Up function.
The outer ring cannot be activated. The cookware is too large or is placed too close to the control panel. Place larger cookware on the rear cooking zones if necessary.
The sensor fields become warm. The signals are switched off. Activate the signals (see "Switching sounds on/off").
No audible signal sounds when you touch the control panel sensor fields. The Automatic Switch Off function is active. Switch the appliance off and on again.
 lights up. The Child Safety Device or key lock is active. Refer to the "Daily Use" chapter.
 lights up. There is a fault in the appliance. Disconnect the appliance from the power supply for a while. Switch off the circuit breaker in your home's electrical system. Switch on again. If  lights up again, contact Customer Service.
