Microwave Oven Operation Summary

This microwave oven offers several operating modes:

Manual Operation:

  • Set cooking time using the TIMER/WEIGHT knob.
  • Select power level using the MICROWAVE POWER LEVEL button.
  • Start cooking with the START/QUICK button.

Automatic Operation:

  • Choose from 7 AUTOCOOK menus or 5 AUTO DEFROST menus.
  • Select the desired menu number using the AUTOMATIC PROGRAMMES button.
  • Input the weight of the food using the TIMER/WEIGHT knob.
  • Press START/QUICK to begin.

Other Functions:

  • Multiple Sequence Cooking: Program up to 3 cooking sequences.
  • Quick Cook Function: Direct start for 30 seconds or extend cooking time in 30-second increments.
  • Safety Lock: Press and hold STOP for 3 seconds to set/cancel.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Check
Microwave appliance not working properly? Fuses in the fuse box are working; no power outage.
Contact a qualified electrician if fuses blow continuously.
Microwave mode not working? Door is properly closed.
Door seals and surfaces are clean.
START button has been pressed.
If the microwave will not switch off: Isolate the appliance from the fuse box. Contact your local Service Force Centre.
Interior light not working? Call your local Service Force Centre. Interior bulb exchange only by trained technicians.
Food taking longer to heat/cook? Set a longer cooking time (double quantity = nearly double time).
Rotate or turn food from time to time.
Set a higher power setting.
Turntable not turning? Turntable support correctly connected to the drive.
Ovenware does not extend beyond the turntable.
Food does not extend beyond the edge of the turntable, preventing rotation.
Nothing in the well beneath the turntable.
Note: If cooking over standard time at 800 W, power lowers automatically to 560 W to avoid overheating. 800 W can be reset after 90 seconds.
