Starting/Stopping the Portable Fan: Connect to a power cord or battery pack. Turn the control knob clockwise to turn ON and adjust speed. Turn counterclockwise to the OFF (0) position to stop.
Changing Fan Speed: Rotate the control knob clockwise for low speeds, counterclockwise for high speeds.
Hanging/Mounting: The fan offers various hanging options including using key holes, hooks, 2x wood material, rods, tubes, rebar, or a 2x4 recess. The head can be rotated 240 degrees.
Installing/Removing Battery Pack: Ensure the fan is OFF. Open battery cover, insert/remove battery pack, and close cover. Latching mechanisms secure the pack.
Installing/Removing Power Cord: Ensure the fan is OFF. Open battery cover, insert the female end of the power cord, and connect the male end to the power source.

| BATTERY PACK PROTECTION | |
| The battery pack has overload protection that protects it from being overloaded and helps to ensure long life. Under extreme stress the battery electronics switch off the machine automatically. To restart, switch the machine off and then on again. If the machine does not start up again, the battery pack may have discharged completely. In this case it must be recharged in the battery charger. |
