Feeder Terminal Operation

The REF 54 series feeder terminals are designed for protection, control, measurement, and supervision of medium voltage networks. They offer a wide range of functions including:

• Protection: Overcurrent, earth-fault, overvoltage, undervoltage, thermal overload, and auto-reclosing functions.
• Control: Local and remote control of switching objects with synchro-check and interlocking.
• Measurement: Phase currents, voltages, frequency, power factor, active/reactive power, and energy. Advanced power quality measurement capabilities including THD, sags, swells, and short interruptions.
• Condition Monitoring: Circuit-breaker condition monitoring, trip circuit supervision, and internal self-supervision.
• Fault Location: Assists in identifying short circuits for faster power restoration.
• Communication: Multiple communication interfaces for integration into substation automation systems (IEC 60870-5-103, IEC 61850, Profibus-DPV1, DNP 3.0, Modbus, LON).
• HMI: Fixed or external graphic display for detailed information and control.
