The LD 810HSE Ex is a gateway between an FF High Speed Ethernet (FF-HSE) subnet and FF-H1 links, supporting device redundancy. It provides four galvanically isolated FF-H1 links, operating as Link Master and SM Time Publisher. The device enables identification, configuration, and access to function blocks of connected H1 devices via HSE. It also supports republishing of process data and distribution of alarms and events.
The device connects to the HSE subnet, acting as a gateway between H1 links and the HSE subnet. It allows configuration of cyclical communication between devices on different H1 links and the HSE subnet, and communicates alarms and events to Connectivity Servers FF for integration into the overall alarm management philosophy.
